Chestnut School of the Arts in downtown Galax has been holding a variety of classes and programs this winter, from electric guitar and “Bongo Babies” to barn quilt-making and art explorer camps for kids and painting nights for adults. The school’s main campus and gift shop are at the corner of Grayson and Main streets, and there are also a woodworking shop, pottery studio and fused glass studio downtown.
