Lois Marie Gallimore, 92, of Fries, Va., passed away Feb. 5, 2023. She was born in Kentucky on June 28, 1930, to Orville and Orphia Wolford Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Elwood Carico, Muncie Hampton and Charlie Gallimore; one daughter; two grandchildren, two sisters and one brother.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and David Moser and Pam and Greg Carico, all of Fries, Va.; sons and daughters-in-law, William Bradley Hampton and Jeff and Linda Hampton, all of Galax, Va.,
Kenneth Hampton and Terry and Debbie Hampton all of Fries, Va.; sisters and brother-in-law, Glenna Bartlett and Joyce and Joe Smith all of Fries,
Va.; brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Kathy Jones and Freddie Jones, all of Galax, Va.; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one step-grandchild, seven step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Feb. 9, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Centerview Holiness Church with Pastor Greg Carico, Pastor Brian Frazier and Brother BoBo Gravley officiating. Burial will follow in the Carico Cemetery. The family will receive friends Feb. 9 from 1 p.m. until time for the funeral service at the Centerview Holiness Church.
