Ruby Sue Bryson, 95, of Woodlawn, Va., passed away Feb. 26, 2023. She was born in Wythe County, Va., on Oct. 11, 1927. to Willis L. and Esther Brown Crockett.
She is survived by her husband, Conny Bryson of Woodlawn, Va.; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and Emanuel Ingram of Upper Marlboro, Md., and Leslie and Jeff Brown of Galax, Va.; sons and daughter-in-law, Phillip Crockett of Woodlawn, Va., and Steve and Mable Bryson of Galax, Va.; sister, Barbara Billingslea of Toledo, Ohio.; brother and sister-in-law, Layton and Nancy Crockett of Galax, Va.; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held March 4, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Minister Golden Carter and Bishop Ethelene Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Glades Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time for the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
