Emma Gladys Pinion Moss, 102, of Winston-Salem, N.C., formerly of Grayson County, Va., died on Oct. 4, 2022. She was born on Oct. 6, 1919, in Independence, Va., to Miles Robert and Verna Ward Pinion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Clay Moss, and four siblings.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Harold Coe of Winston-Salem, N.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Randall Clay and Vanessa Moss of Tobaccoville, N.C.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Graveside services were conducted on Oct. 8, 2022, at the Comers Rock Cemetery with the Rev. Wilmer Shepherd officiating.
Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home in Independence, Va., is serving the family.
